On Friendship Day, we tied up with Airtel in Bangalore to set up a giant message screen that people could send messages to and have it displayed.
It was a simple, we set up a 140 sq ft screen outside the very popular Forum Mall in Koramangala, where you could send an SMS to 55444, and have your message displayed on that screen.
We saw some friends send messages and come take their photos with it, we saw a proposal happen on that screen, people professed their love, some people made up and we even had some public awareness messages that people sent in!
In all, it was a great experience for us to see the 55444 platform being used in real time, and for people to find a way to express their feelings with their friends!
